What can I use to control flies in my barns?

Flies can be a real problem this time of year but there are things you can do to make it better.
1.Sprays = Premise sprays work well if you can find one that is encapsulated.  The reason is encapsulated sprays last longer than conventional sprays because of the micro-encapsulation breaking down over a long period of time
2.Fly Sticks = Fly Sticks can be hung all around the feed rooms and inside the barns.
3.Fly Strips = Like the fly sticks, these can be hung from the ceilings and are a bit less expensive than the sticks
4.Fly Ribbon = Fly ribbon comes on a spool and can be wrapped around the rafters were flies congregate.  It is also a sticky tape.
5.Misters = Aerosol cans can be placed in misters that are sprayed by a timer.  A few times a day, fly spray can be released to control them.
With all of these options, your fly problems should be less of a hassle on you and your livestock.  You can also use two of them together for even better control.
These products work well in areas other than barns.  If you have fly problems anywhere, these will work.
My quote of the week comes from Paul Harvey.  It reads "Golf is a game where you yell "fore", shoot six, and right down five."
