Is it time to plant potatoes?
It really doesn't seem like that time of year again does it? Potato planting is what many consider the beginning of spring vegetable garden planting. Well, the first shipment of potatoes are in and if you haven't started breaking up the garden, you may want to knock the dust off the old tiller. If you've done this before, you probably have heard that the planting date used by most people is February 14th. But others will tell you it depends on the moon or what kind of mood the mama's in that week. But no matter when you plant, remember it may take a week or two for the potato to grow eyes and be ready to plant.

My quote of the week comes from a Chinese Proverb. It reads, "To know the road ahead, ask those coming back."
